Braised Pork Trotter (焖猪脚) – Song-Cho Electric Pressure Cooker SC-EP5 (松厨电压力锅)

Braising pork trotter using Song-Cho Electric Pressure Cooker (SC-EP5) is simple!

Serves 4


  • Pork Trotter 1.5kg (washed & chopped into chunks; blanched & drained)
  • Pork Thigh 500g (washed & chopped into chunks; blanched & drained)
  • Garlic 6 cloves (removed skin & washed)
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Licorice 3 pieces
  • Clove 5 pieces
  • Star Anise 2 pcs
  • Tsaoko 1 pc
  • Dark Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Water 150ml


  1. Place blanched pork trotters and thigh meat into the inner pot followed by all the dried ingredients, seasoning (except sugar) and water.
  2. Close the lid and ensure the pressure cooker is properly locked and balancing weight is properly placed.
  3. On the power, press “Beans/tendon” function (default 40 minutes cooking time AFTER sufficient pressure is formed).
  4. When it is done, the control panel will indicate “bb” text and it goes into a keep warm stage. Press “Cancel” button and turn off the power. *This is an important step to ensure the pressure is released faster.
  5. When the indicator drops (IMPORTANT), it is ready. Open the lid, add sugar to taste, mix well and remove the pork from the electric pressure cooker and serve with rice.





  • 猪脚 1.5公斤 (洗净斩块; 川烫沥干)
  • 猪肩胛 500克 (洗净斩块; 川烫沥干)
  • 蒜5瓣 (去皮洗净)
  • 肉桂 2支
  • 甘草 3片
  • 丁香 5个
  • 八角 2个
  • 草果 1 粒
  • 酱油 2汤匙
  • 酱清 1汤匙
  • 蚝油 2汤匙
  • 白糖 1茶匙
  • 清水 公升


  1. 将猪肉放入电压力锅内锅, 然后倒入所有材料和调味料 (除了白糖).
  2. 盖上锅盖, 确认盖子已锁好, 配重头戴正.
  3. 开电源, 按 “Beans/tendon” (豆类/筋) 功能 (默认烹煮时间在气压饱和后为40分钟)
  4. 烹煮程序完成后, 显示板会出现 “bb” 字样, 此时按 “Cancel” (取消) 键, 关掉电源. *这是个重要的步骤能使压力比较快减低.
  5. 当指示阀下降后 (重要), 打开锅盖加入白糖调味, 搅拌均匀后即可把猪脚取出, 配白饭享用.
