Let instructor Ms Vinitha Ang of NUTRIHUB demonstrates a yummy and nutritious Wholegrain Mutri Soup using SONG-CHO Magic Quick Cook!

Serves 5 to 6

Ingredients:

  • Black Beans 60g (rinse & soak overnight; discard water & rinse clean)
  • Azuki (Red) Beans 60g (rinse & soak overnight; discard water & rinse clean) 
  • Buckwheat / Pearl Barley 40g (rinse & soak for 30 minutes; discard water & rinse clean) 
  • Millet 40g (rinse & soak for 30 minutes; discard water & rinse clean) 
  • Burdock Root (dried slices) 20g (rinse clean) or Burdock Root (fresh), ½ stalk (wash clean & cut into slices) – no need peel skin if organically grown.
  • Carrot 150g (wash, peel skin & cut into medium cubes)
  • Pumpkin 200g (wash, peel skin & cut into medium pieces)
  • Turnip (Mang Kuang) 150g (wash, peel skin & cut into medium pieces)

Steps:

  1. Add 1800ml water and beans into the Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker; close/lock the lid, turn high heat till the balancing weight starts to sway.
  2. After balancing weight starts to sway, reduce to low/medium heat and cook the beans for 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, turn off the heat. Rest the pressure cooker till the pressure indicator drops (approximately 10 to 15 minutes) before opening the lid.
  4. Change to glass cover and heat up again, add burdock root, buckwheat & millet to cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Then, add carrot, pumpkin & turnip and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. When the soup is ready, optional to add ½ tsp of rock salt / sea salt and mix well before serving.

材料:

  • 黑豆 60克 (洗净, 浸泡隔夜; 把水倒掉再冲洗)
  • 赤小豆 60克 (洗净, 浸泡隔夜; 把水倒掉再冲洗)
  • 荞麦/薏米 40克 (洗净, 浸泡30分钟; 把水倒掉再冲洗)
  • 小米 40克 (洗净, 浸泡30分钟; 把水倒掉再冲洗)
  • 牛蒡 (干片状) 20克 (洗净)或新鲜牛蒡 ½ 根 (洗净, 切片) – 如有机无需去皮
  • 红萝卜 150克 (洗净, 去皮, 切中块)
  • 南瓜 200克 (洗净, 去皮, 切中块)
  • 沙葛 150克 (洗净, 去皮, 切中块)

做法:

  1. 把1800毫升的清水和所有豆子倒入魔法气压锅内; 盖/锁上气压锅盖, 开大火至配重头开始摇摆
  2. 当配重头开始摇摆时, 回中小火5分钟
  3. 5分钟后, 熄火; 待指示阀降下后 (约10至15分钟) 才开盖
  4. 换成玻璃锅盖, 开火, 然后加入牛蒡片, 荞麦/薏米和小米煮上5分钟
  5. 续而加入红萝卜, 南瓜和沙葛再煮个10至15分钟
  6. 当汤煮好后, 可加 ½ 茶匙岩盐或海盐拌匀即可趁热享用
