Glutinous Rice (糯米饭) – Song-Cho Rice Cooker (松厨电饭锅 SC-FCM58)

A favourite comfy food, Glutinous Rice is easy to make at home. Try this simple recipe using *Song-Cho Rice Cooker.

 *There are other versions with the same cooking function for stir-frying ingredients using rice cooker.

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

  • Glutinous rice 2 cups (using the measuring cup provided)
  • Water 2 cups (using the measuring cup provided)
  • Garlic 3 cloves (chopped finely)
  • Shallots 5 small pcs (chopped finely)
  • Lap Cheong 50g (chopped finely)
  • Dried Shrimp 50g (washed & drained)
  • Chinese Mushroom 3pcs (soaked, drained & chopped finely)
  • Peanuts 50g (stir-fried cooked version; according to personal preference)
  • Fried Shallots 30g (according to personal preference)
  • Light Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Dark Soy Sauce 1.5 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil 3 tbsp
  • Coriander for garnish

Steps:

1) Stir-fry the ingredients using REHEAT function. Press Menu till REHEAT and press START, add sesame oil into the stainless steel inner pot, close the lid and let the oil heat up.

2) After a few minutes, open the lid and add shallots & garlic, stir-fry till fragrant, add dried shrimps, Chinese mushroom and lap cheong, close the lid and let it heat up for a few minutes (till the REHEAT timing is up).

3) Open the lid, add light and dark soy sauce, glutinous rice and mix well. Press MENU till COOK, press START.

4) Add water, mix well, close the lid and let the cooking process continue. It will take about an hour.

5) When the cooking process is completed, stir the rice well, add fried shallots and peanuts and mix well. Garnish with coriander and it is ready to be served.

4 – 6人份

材料:

  • 糯米2杯 (用附赠的量杯)
  • 清水2杯 (用附赠的量杯)
  • 蒜头3个 (切碎)
  • 小葱头5个 (切碎)
  • 腊肠50克 (切细)
  • 虾米 (洗净沥干)
  • 香菇 (洗净沥干, 切碎)
  • 花生50克 (炒过的熟花生, 随个人喜好)
  • 炸葱头30克 (随个人喜好)
  • 酱清2汤匙
  • 酱油1½ 汤匙
  • 麻油3汤匙
  • 香菜点缀用

做法:

1) 利用 “再热” 功能把食材炒香; 按MENU 键至REHEAT功能, 按START键启动程序; 在不锈钢内锅里倒入麻油, 关上盖让它预热

2) 几分钟后加入蒜蓉和葱头爆香, 然后加入虾米, 香菇和腊肠一起翻炒, 再关上锅盖让它焖出香味 (直到再热功能结束)

3) 打开锅盖, 加入酱清, 酱油和糯米然后拌匀; 按MENU 键至COOK功能, 然后按START键启动程序

4) 加入清水拌匀, 关上锅盖让它继续烹煮至程序结束, 需1小时

5) 程序完成后, 开盖翻搅糯米饭, 然后加入炸葱头和花生拌匀盛入碗中, 用香菜点缀即可享用
