Steam fish is a healthy and simple dish to prepare. 🐟 See how to steam fish using Song-Cho 30cm Ideal Wok. 🙂

Serves 3 to 4


  • Pomfret 300g (add lemon juice while washing to clear the fishy smell)
  • Chili 2pcs (cut into thin strips)
  • Ginger 1 small pc (cut into thin strips)
  • Tomato 1 pc (slice it)
  • Chinese mushroom 1 pc (slice thinly)
  • Salted plum 1 pc
  • Oil ½ tbsp.
  • Spring onion a few small pcs for garnish



  1. Place a steamer/trivet into the Ideal Wok, add water and heat up the wok.
  2. Use paper towel to tap dry the pomfret, add Chinese mushroom, salted plum, ginger strips, tomato pieces and oil.
  3. When the water boils, place the pomfret into the wok, cover it with lid and steam for 12-15 minutes.
  4. After 12-15 minutes, open the lid and remove the fish from the wok, garnish with chili and spring onion pieces and it is ready to be served.

  • 白鲳鱼 300克 (清洗时,加一些柠檬汁可清除腥味)
  • 辣椒半条 (切丝)
  • 姜小块(切丝)
  • 番茄1粒 (切块)
  • 冬菇1朵 (切片)
  • 咸水梅1粒
  • 油半汤匙
  • 葱花小段点缀



  1. 把蒸脚架放入锅内,加入适量的水开火待滚
  2. 用纸巾把鱼弄干, 加入香菇,咸水梅,姜丝,蕃茄块再淋上油
  3. 当水滚时,把鱼放入锅内然后盖上锅盖蒸12至15分钟
  4. 时间到时,打开锅盖,把鱼取出摆盘即可
