Let Chef FOONG TAN show you how to prepare the popular Glutinous Rice with Chicken (aka Lo Mai Gai) using Song-Cho Magic Quick Cook pressure cooker and Ideal Wok.

Serves 5

Ingredient:

  • Chicken thigh 300g (washed & cut into chunks)
  • Glutinous rice 600g (soaked overnight or at least 4 to 5 hours)
  • Chinese mushroom 5pcs (washed & cut into bite-size pcs)
  • Char siew 5pcs

 Seasoning for glutinous rice:

  • Sugar 8g
  • Dark soy sauce 2/3tbsp
  • Sesame oil 2/3tbsp
  • Garlic 1tbsp (finely chopped & stir-fry till fragrant)
  • Garlic oil 1tbsp

Seasoning for chicken:

  • Salt 4g
  • Chicken powder 6g
  • Dark soy sauce a little to taste
  • Sesame oil a little to taste
  • Garlic a little (finely chopped)
  • Water a little
  • Corn flour with water a little

Steps:

1) Steam the glutinous rice inside Magic Quick Cook for 5 minutes (10 minutes for standard pressure cooker). When it is ready, add seasoning, mix well and set aside.

2) Add chopped garlic into Ideal wok and stir-fry till fragrant. Add chicken, mushroom and stir-fry. Add salt, chicken powder, water, sesame oil and dark soy sauce and continue to fry the chicken mixture. Add corn flour water and stir-fry well.

3) In a small bowl, place the stir-fried mushroom (1 pc), chicken (2 pcs) and char siew (1 pc) at the bottom.

4) Fill the small bowl with the seasoned glutinous rice and steam for another 2 minutes in the Magic Quick Cook (5 minutes for standard pressure cooker).

5) Dished out the steamed glutinous rice and serve. 🙂

材料:

  • 鸡腿肉 300克
  • 糯米 600克 (浸泡隔夜或至少4到5小时)
  • 香菇 5朵 (洗净切片备用)
  • 叉烧 5片

糯米调味料:

  • 糖 8克
  • 酱油 2/3汤匙
  • 麻油 2/3汤匙
  • 蒜蓉(爆香)和蒜蓉油 1汤匙

鸡肉调味料:

  • 盐 4克
  • 鸡精粉 6克
  • 酱油 少许
  • 麻油 少许
  • 蒜蓉 少许
  • 清水 少许
  • 生粉水 少许

做法:

1) 先把糯米放入松厨魔法气压锅内蒸5分钟取出 (一般气压锅约10分钟), 将糯米调味备用

2) 把蒜蓉爆香, 加入鸡肉和香菇翻炒, 然后加入盐, 鸡精粉, 水, 麻油和酱油继续翻炒, 后加入生粉水翻炒均匀

3) 将炒好的香菇(1朵), 鸡肉(2块), 叉烧(1片) 放入小碗铺底

4) 再把调好味的蒸糯米盛在小碗再蒸2分钟就行了 (一般气压锅约5分钟)

5) 把蒸好的糯米鸡从小碗内取出即可享用 🙂
