Using SONG-CHO / Wonderchef superfast Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker to boil nutritious Lotus Root Peanut Pork Rib Soup in just 10 minutes (peanuts are soft too)! You do not need 1.5 hours to make sure the soup is tasty and the peanuts are soft. 🙂

Serves 4 to 6


  • Pork ribs (or soft bone) 300g (blanch it)
  • Lotus roots 500g (slice)
  • Peanuts 100g
  • Red dates 6pcs
  • Candied dates 2pcs
  • Wolfberry 10g
  • Salt 2tsp
  • Water 2litre



  1.  Pour all the ingredients into the Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker.
  2.  Close the lid in clockwise direction (align the arrow on the lid and handle), press the lid gently down (ensure it is closed properly); push the side button down (to lock it) and straighten the balancing weight. Turn high heat.
  3.  The side pressure indicator will rise when pressure starts to develop; when the balancing weight starts swaying, turn to small/medium heat. At this point (when the heat is turned down), cook for 10 minutes. (Normal: the balancing weight will sway and release steam throughout the cooking process)
  4.  After 10 minutes, turn off the heat.
  5.  Open the lid ONLY when the side pressure indicator drops (IMPT!). The soup is ready. 🙂

  • 软骨(排骨也可以) 300克(过水稍汆燙)
  • 莲藕 500克 (切片)
  • 花生 100克
  • 红枣 6颗
  • 蜜枣 2颗
  • 枸杞 10克
  • 盐2茶匙
  • 清水2公升



  1.  将所有材料一并倒入气压锅内。
  2.  顺时钟盖上锅盖(锅盖和手柄的箭头要对准),轻轻压下(确保盖好); 把开关钮往下推(锁住),将配重头固定位置 (弄直), 开大火。
  3.  指示阀会随着锅内聚积的气压而上升; 当配重头开始摇摆排气时, 关中小火, 此时开始煮10分钟。
  4.  (正常: 在烹煮过程中,气压锅会释放水蒸气,配重头也会不时地旋转并释放水蒸气)
  5.  10分钟后熄火。
  6.  等到指示阀下降后才开盖 (重要!) 。汤好了,请慢慢享用。:)
