Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker (松厨魔法气压锅) – How to Operate (如何操作)

Using SONG-CHO / Wonderchef super fast Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker is easy once you get the gist of it. It will be the fastest and most energy-efficient cookware you ever own. Scroll all the way down (end page) for pictorial explanation. 🙂

Preparation: ensure the Silicon Seal is fixed properly before using the lid.


Step by Step:

  1. Pour desired ingredients into the Magic Quick Cook Pressure Cooker.


  1. Put on the lid, align the arrow on the lid and handle, press the lid gently down (ensure it is closed properly).
  2. Turn the lid in clockwise direction until both lid handle and pot handle are aligned.
  3. Push the side Pressure Indicator Button down (to lock it).
  4. Straighten the Balancing Weight.
  5. Turn on to high heat.
  6. The side Pressure Indicator will rise when pressure starts to develop.
  7. When the Balancing Weight starts swaying, turn to small/medium heat.


  1. At this point when the heat is turned down, the cooking time (of the recipe) starts.
  • As Magic Quick Cook cooks faster than standard pressure cooker, you need to adjust and shorten the cooking time:
  • Standard Pressure Cooker: halve the cooking time of standard pressure cooker (e.g. if it takes 20 minutes to cook using standard pressure cooker, use 10 minutes “cooking time” to cook for Magic Quick Cook).
  • Normal Pot: 25% of the cooking time of standard cooking pot (e.g. if it takes 1 hour to cook using normal pot, use 15 minutes “cooking time” to cook for Magic Quick Cook).
  • “Cooking time XX minutes to cook” is equal to point 1. above.

Normal: the balancing weight will sway and release steam throughout the cooking process.


  1. After required cooking time is up, turn off the heat.
  2. Wait for the side Pressure Indicator to drop. Depending on the content and cooking time, it may take 15 to 30 minutes or longer for the indicator to drop.
  3. (IMPORTANT) ONLY when the side pressure indicator drops, you may open the lid.

  1. Push the side Pressure Indicator Button up (ensure side pressure indicator has dropped).
  2.  Turn the lid anti-clockwise and open the lid.

(A) 关盖:

  1. 把盖放上锅身, 锅盖和手柄的箭头要对准, 轻轻压下 (确保盖好) 。
  2. 顺时钟盖紧锅盖, 确保锅盖手柄和锅身手柄对合。
  3. 把开关钮往下推 (锁住)
  4. 将配重头固定位置 (弄直)
  5. 开大火。
  6. 指示阀会随着锅内聚积的气压而上升
  7. 当配重头开始摇摆排气时, 关中小火。

(B) 烹煮时间 / 时段:

  1. 当关中小火时, 开始计算(食谱)烹煮时间。
  • 由于松厨魔法气压锅比一般传统气压锅快, 食谱烹煮时间需做调整:
  • 一般传统气压锅: 把时间减短一半 (例: 如果用一般传统气压锅你之前所需的烹煮时间是20分钟, 用松厨魔法气压锅烹煮时间就只需10分钟)。
  • 一般普通汤锅: 只需25%的时间 (例: 如果用一般普通汤锅你之前所需的烹煮时间是1个小时, 用烹煮时间就只需15分钟)。
  • “烹煮时间” 是等于以上1. 。

*正常: 在烹煮过程中,气压锅会释放水蒸气,配重头也会不时地旋转并释放水蒸气。

(C) 焖煮时间 / 时段:

  1. 烹煮时间到时, 熄火。
  2. 等到指示阀下降。依据食物和烹调时间,指示阀下降需15至30分钟或更长的时间。
  3. 等到指示阀下降后才开盖 (重要!) 。

(D) 开盖:

  1. 把开关钮往上推 (确保指示阀下降)。
  2. 逆时钟将锅盖打开即可。
